South Carolina: Library allows you to check out fishing equipment

In Pickens County, South Carolina, the Village Library is excited to announce they've added fishing rods and tackle boxes to their Library of Things.
It's through the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources "Fishing Tackle Loaner" program.
The items are only available at the Pickens branch and need to be returned there as well.
"You can check out cornhole, horseshoe, giant Jenga, so to get people outdoors and being active. So, since we do have the lakes nearby, I saw where Anderson County as well has the Fishing Loaner Program, so that's how it just evolved," said Margaret Holder, the Village Library in Pickens branch manager.
The fishing rods can be checked out for seven days; all you need is your Pickens County library card. You can also check out an entrance pass to South Carolina state parks.
